Crew at the open door of a helicopter in flight

The mission

Show the base where Colombia’s rotary-wing pilots are trained and tested, and the allied crews who pass through it. Not the aircraft as objects, but the people who learn to fly them under pressure.

What we focused on

Instructors, students and ground crews, and the missions the base prepares them for: evacuations, rescues, combat air support and fighting fire when the country burns.

What we made

A short documentary film and a stills series, made on location.
